“Seasoned Singles” is the name used by the Asia/Pacific Continental group of ICOC churches for their mature singles’ ministries. The evolution and continuing development of this ministry is, in the opinion of womentoday.international, a great example of “Best Practices” in ICOC churches when it comes to inspiring and shepherding mature single people. The love of Christ for the fatherless and widows, as well as single parents and older singles, both men and women, is evident in the sacrificial lives and the active faith of these brothers and sisters. Single mothers face constant challenges on a daily basis – worldly temptations, sin, loneliness, afflictions, pressure, persecution, etc.

In an Asian Seasoned Singles event entitled Crucial Conversations for Single Moms, “More Than Conquerors,”  on June 12^th, 2021 --  an event organised and conducted by single moms for single moms --  four single mothers who have been faithful disciples for over 20 years gave inspiring testimonies of how God’s love has been displayed in their lives. 

 Josephine CHEONG (Singapore), Kala Ganesh NAIDU (India), Yong CHING (Indonesia), and LIM Woon Wei (Malaysia)shared with at least 289 participants about their challenges as young single moms raising young children, how they courageously gave their best, how they drew strength from God to overcome their challenges and the inspiring victories they experienced through God working in their challenges. 

Come and listen to the victorious journey with God of these four faithful women. They became More than Conquerors (Romans 8:37), not by their own capabilities, nor through their own strength, but through the grace of our amazing God who loves them – just as he loves each one of us.
