Editor's note: We are republishing this story of how Jenelle and her husband surrendered their hearts to being childless. Her story is worth listening to for all of us, regardless if you have children or not. It's a great reminder of the depth of sadness women experience when they are going through something like this, and how our well-intentioned words can add to their pain.
Jenelle Ferrer of Orlando, Florida, shares in a meeting of 400 women a faith-building story of what waiting on God has meant for her as she and her husband deal with infertility.

Jackie Deady - I can totally relate to your story. I too went through infertility for 9 years. I remember getting all the advice on how to get pregnant I remember reading about all those women in the Bible and Psalm 37 and Romans 12 holding onto hope. I’m amazed at your strength and faith in God. My husband and I have since adopted 2 beautiful amazing girls as infants who are now 26 and 21 years old and they are both strong disciples serving in their ministries . I am so happy for you as you’ve kept your faith and surrendered to God. I found that through our journey of infertility God had refined my faith in such a way that I am so thankful for that time. My husband also became a disciple after adopting our first baby. God knew what we needed. Thank you for sharing your story.
