Our dear sister Yam Anderson, devoted wife and mother of two boys, passed away 2 weeks ago after battling cancer for 3 years. When she was originally diagnosed, she was given 6 months to live. She outlived her diagnosis and fought valiantly for 3 years. Even while in pain, she was so joyful and sang with her beautiful voice to worship God constantly. She loved sharing about God with others. In her weakest times, she was studying with many women from all over the world. She had been reaching out to her old classmate, Ronnet, who lives in Sydney, for 5 years. A few months ago, Ronnet said yes to studying the Bible. While Yam was battling cancer—and even while in hospital—she would study with Ronnet over video chat. Today, Ronnet was baptised! We know Yam is rejoicing in heaven to see her friend make Jesus Lord. Oh, happy day!
