My name is Clara Escudero and I am 25 years old. I was born and
raised in Quito-Ecuador; in 2014 I moved to the United States to study
at the University of Arizona, where I was reached out by a campus
student and became a part of our fellowship in December of that year.
Later I started serving in the Campus Ministry in Tucson, AZ until I
moved back to Quito in 2017. I was hired to work for Hope Worldwide
Ecuador as a project coordinator, and the Quito Church of Christ as a
campus intern. I currently volunteer for Hope and also serve in the
Teen Ministry and Young Professionals in Quito. In my free time I like to
read and also watch movies or TV shows. My dreams right now are to
pursue my master’s degree in Social Development and to start
programs related to social service in Ecuador, engaging young people
from all over the world with local communities that live in extreme
poverty.
