Felecia Theune, along with her husband, Demetrius, and daughter, Sarah, have called Miami home for 20 years. She was baptized in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1991 and has served in the Tampa and Miami worship ministries. Felecia currently co-leads the SCUAD in the One Miami Church. After a 25-year career in journalism, Felecia left her career and enrolled full-time in a doctoral program at the University of Miami, where she earned a Ph.D. in Sociology. She currently works as a Research Analyst and teaches courses on race and ethnicity at UM.
