Teens & Young Teens: Try this Quarantine Reflection Activity
Wow! The past few weeks have been nothing short of crazy for me, for you and the whole world!
If you’re anything like me, you've felt a mix of emotions since the start of this pandemic. I’ve felt fearful, thankful for my health, worried, in awe of God’s power, concerned, optimistic, pessimistic, etc.
Sometimes I just need to sit down and bring all my concerns before God while still remembering who He is and what He promises to His people.
In this “Quarantine Reflection” activity, we have the opportunity to tell God how we feel and thank God for how amazing He is. This is a great practice to use in any time we’re facing high emotion or feeling overwhelmed. I pray this activity helps you to ground yourself in the midst of this seemingly emotional time. Stay safe and healthy!
Lexi Badami
Hey! My name is Lexi Badami. I have been your sister in Christ since September 5, 2015. I am a part of the North Ministry of the Chicago Church of Christ. I serve as an intern for the Youth & Family Ministry and the Campus Ministry in my region and love every bit of it!
I am 20 years old and currently in my second year of college. I am studying Secondary Education in Mathematics and English as a Second Language. My hobbies include painting, building/engineering projects and anything makeup and beauty related.
I love my diverse family! It consists of my mom, Lori, my stepdad, Luis, and my siblings Angelina, Luis Angel, and Lea. I am so blessed because they are all disciples and my biological father, John, ended his walk of life as a faithful disciple. One fun fact about me is I don’t have necessarily a favorite scripture, but instead favorite chapters in the Bible: Psalm 27 and Romans 12. I am so grateful that we have God’s word to encourage and convict our souls. Thank you so much for getting to know me. God bless.
