My name is Anna Petter and I am the Junior Women's Ministry Leader here in Winnipeg, Manitoba. 

 

To celebrate International Women's Day 2023 our fellowship had an evening potluck together. During this time we discussed women's issues around the world and how we can have a Godly perspective on them as well as help others to do the same. While looking at these women's issues we asked ourselves, "How does God see and hear us in the midst of these issues?"

 

As the evening continued we played a charades game acting out different women in history and watched a slideshow of sisters in our fellowship over the years.

We also collected donations for a local charity called Moon time Sisters who provide menstrual products to Indigenous women in Northern Manitoba communities free of charge.
