Good News from around the world in ICOC Women’s Ministries     

The sun is about to set on 2021. We’re not done with Covid yet. For different ones of us at different times during this year, many of us have been sick and many have been bereaved. We’ve been shocked, and then devastated by the differences of opinion that exist around issues and concerns important to us. We’ve been inspired by innovation, and encouraged by the positive life lessons many have learned through lockdowns. We may not have been able to appreciate it at the time, and may not be able to, still –- whether we perceive it or not, our faithful and powerful God has been at work and continues to relentlessly work His good will among (and maybe in spite of) us. 

     The ICOC Women’s Service Team compiled for you a tiny fraction of the good news going on around the world in our women’s ministries. This is by no means a comprehensive representation. A couple of months ago, we extended an invitation to all our regional church families to send us a short, good news video from the perspective of the women’s ministry. We stitched them together and here they are – from whomever had the time and ability to respond to our request. We know it’s barely even a drop of the blessings we would hear about if we could personally interview each one of you around the world. May this little sampler lift our hearts as we enter the last month of the year, knowing that we have sisters around the world who are riding the ups and downs of 2021 with faith as best they can – just as we are (1 Peter 5:9).
