An early 20th-century writer and philosopher named George Santayana seems to be the source for this oft-repeated quote: "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." We might be tempted to overlook this video, since it’s from 2020 and we are living now and wanting inspiration for now! We’re grateful to Veronique Webber, currently serving the Boston Church as women’s ministry leader, for documenting important life lessons learned in an unprecedentedly difficult period in our recent history. She reminds us of God’s active presence in our lives— he wants to shepherd us; he promises us just enough; he refreshes our soul. May we live and thrive in that confidence!
